Happy baby



Here are some recent pics of Abby on a playdate at the mall. She loved crawling around, pulling herself up onto everything! In other news, she FINALLY has a tooth starting to come in. I swear I thought she was getting teeth five months ago! I blamed everything on teething: fussiness, drooling, putting everything into her mouth, etc. I'll know next time for the next child. Ha. :)

Tipping the Scales


Abby LOVES the scale in our bathroom...not sure why. I think she's the only female I know who actually enjoys getting on one! Perhaps she overheard the doctor saying she was 22 pounds, which is the average size of a 12-month-old. I don't know, but I'll be sure to be on the lookout for her attempting to spit up on purpose, etc. in order to shed a few ounces! :)

I'm pretty sure this is NOT the body part you want to put on the scales, Abby. She'll learn that soon enough!
